ECO-DRONES SAVING PLANET EARTH - From the 6th MASS EXTINCTION CRISIS !!!

Unlike the other five… this one is all on us. No one to blame but ourselves.

Our research peeled away the layers and we found that it’s kind of hard to calculate extinction rate when we are discovering new species all the time.

The World Wildlife Foundation, gave a figure (with some information to back it up from experts) and they said, If there are:

- 100,000,000 different species on Earth

- And the extinction rate is just 0.01% per year

- At least 10,000 species go extinct every year

Wrap your head around that figure… 10,000! Ten thousand species go extinct every year. EVERY YEAR ! Wow! Humans cease to amaze me… We are killing off ten thousand living, breathing species every single year!

The World Wildlife Foundation also stated that the rapid loss of species we are seeing today is estimated to be between 1,000 and 10,000 times higher than the natural extinction rate. What?

At this rate 30 to 50% of all species will be extinct by 2050!

How can we help this cause of SAVING PLANET EARTH? Of course it takes both you and I to help along this cause, but using a drone can help so much more. Drones… they’re a platform that can perform many tasks. And they can do it by minimizing the disturbance to animals and their habitats. They are also able to do more in less time than what a human can do.

That’s where ECO-DRONES come in…

Another article we read estimated that drones could cover three times more area than humans can in the same amount of time. Putting that into easy to read language… that’s 42,584 acres with a drone in the same amount of time that it would take a human to cover 12,615 acres using a hand held devise.

One of the experts, Dr Tom… talked about the explosive nature of humans taking more and more of the natural environment away from all species. He said… take away 10% of the area they live in and they adapt. Take 20% and they move back and adapt. Take 30%, 40%… and there will be a certain breaking point where the species doesn’t just decline, they completely disappear. They are unable to forage for food or reproduce in whatever percentage of space less than what they were used to living. It’s not a slow decrease, it’s a “here today, gone tomorrow” happening.

A 2022 report by the U.N. states that humans have devalued up to 40% of global terrain.

Based off of what Dr. Tom postulates… at 40%, we are close to that breaking point for all Earth.

Several of the tasks that drones are helping to perform:

Mapping of wildlife areas

Tracking of wildlife using radio-telemetry with VHF tags. Tracking in real time.

Using thermal imaging you can “find Waldo” anywhere with his heat signature. No more wondering “Where’s Waldo?”

Monitor illegal activities such as poaching and deforestation

Using thermal imaging can detect poachers at night

Drones are able to go into areas that are impossible or hard to get to (aka remote areas)

Using drones is No risk to human life

Drones are cost effective. It is very expensive both money and time wise to manually do what drones can accomplish in a short period of time.

They are able to cover large areas with speed and precision.

Drones are beginning to make a large impact on conservation.

Save the Planet!

Use a drone!
